Don’t let this cute little creature fool you. I went through more rounds than I care to talk about trying to finish this one, but I am pretty happy with the enchanted forest/magic mushroom vibes. This painting doesn’t photograph well and looks much better in person… it sort of has a weird nuclear glow to it when its hanging on the wall (that I am quite fond of).

The original and prints will be up in my shop, which re-launches May 1st! T-minus 10 days and counting…

Here’s another painting I (mostly) finished months ago, but in the constant pursuit for perfection, made some updates to recently. I finally sealed it with glitter and varnish so that I won’t feel tempted to fuss with it more. Ice cream and cute cockroaches!

In other news, I signed up for four sewing classes at the local fashion academy! Very excited for that as it’s something I’ve always wanted to get better at. I am also working on stuff to re-open my Etsy shop soon, so keep your eyes peeled…

Drug Bunny

Okay, so I totally painted this like 3 or 4 months ago and never shared it with the internets. Oops! Anyway, here is my little Drug Bunny, which captures my fondness for fluffy rabbit hats and pills that look like candy. Even though I loathe the winter (which is pretty much non-existent in my new city, Seattle – hooray!), I guess it can still be glamourous and inspirational when you are so far removed from the snow.

Not a very festive post, but nonetheless: Happy Valentines Day, darlings!
